Equipment Description:

Complete system for filtration, disinfection, repressurization, and monitoring of potable water to hotel/resort.

Problem:

Domestic water in the Caribbean is often not safe for guest consumption. Stomach and other ailments are common, particularly when water is used for drinking or brushing teeth. Having sick guests was not an option. The management group needed a solution to provide clean, potable water to the entire resort.

Solution:

WCC provided a custom, pre-piped skid with all the equipment required to clean and disinfect the water. Specific components included backwashing filters, a sodium hypochlorite (chlorine) injection system, variable speed booster pumps, chlorine & pH monitors, alarms/failsafe mechanisms, and a single-point PLC controller to tie it all together. The installation was so successful that the resort management group has now purchased and installed similar WCC systems in multiple properties throughout the region.
