Equipment Description:

Commercial quadraplex ion exchange-type water softening system with progressive service.

Problem:

With all the critical systems in a hospital that require water, it is essential that the water supply has had the scale-accumulating minerals removed to ensure the long-term proper operation of these systems.

Solution:

An ion-exchange commercial water softening system with 3” control valves and four (4) resin tanks. The system is designed for progressive service, bringing additional tanks online and offline as needed based on real-time flow rates. This system will replace the calcium in the water supply with sodium, resulting in soft water for distribution throughout the facility.
