Equipment Description:
High-purity water system for laboratory research and development and humidification. The system can produce up to 2,000 gallons per day of ASTM Type II water for distribution to laboratory faucets and the humidification system. The system includes all required pre-treatment components necessary based on site-specific water quality. Production equipment is designed to meet water quality and daily demand requirements, and distribution systems capable of meeting the flow and pressure required for the equipment/fixtures unique to the facility.
Problem:
A new multi-use government facility required a water treatment package capable of providing high-purity water to laboratory faucets, countertop polishers, sterilization equipment, and HVAC equipment.
Solution:
WCC designed a system to meet their water quality requirements and fit into the available space within the mechanical room. The turnkey skid-mounted system includes all required pre-treatment components based on site water quality, production equipment designed to meet and exceed daily volume requirements, and distribution equipment designed to meet the flow and pressure requirements of the various distribution outlets. The system also includes a control panel designed to integrate all the system components and provide real-time operating information on system performance to the building automation system.
