Brassmaster Element33™ filters use a catalytic media to oxidize and remove contaminants that can cause illness (including cancer), staining, bad odors, and bad tastes. Every night, the system regenerates itself with a simple backwash, relying on the natural oxygen in the water to clean the media bed. Pioneer Systems feature patented cartridge filters, making media very quick/easy to replace. A unique carbon block cartridge offers effective, NSF-certified removal of lead and cysts, in addition to chemicals like chlorine and chloramine. A different, anion resin cartridge provides removal of “Forever Chemicals” like PFAS and PFOS that complies with the most stringent EPA standards. The PS-5 reverse osmosis system is the most compact under-the-counter reverse osmosis system available. It provides better-than-bottle quality water to RO faucets, refrigerators, and ice makers by removing virtually all contaminants. Water and time waste are minimized due to a highly efficient, single cartridge membrane design. Systems are available with a standard chrome faucet or with an upgraded, designer faucet (multiple designs and finishes available).
The WHRO-700 whole-house, all-in-one RO system uses patented Pentair filter membranes, which only require line pressure provided by a city or well supply and (in most instances) do not require a water softener for pre-treatment. BrassMaster pH Balancing Filters use sacrificial calcite media to increase pH (when acidic water conditions are present) or regenerable anion resin media to reduce pH (when high alkalinity and scaling are present). Combination units also contain a bed of cation resin, through which hardness is exchanged for very tiny amounts of sodium. Dealkalizers and combo systems regenerate with salt pellets, just like a normal water softener. In the end, the pH of the water is adjusted to prevent corrosivity or scaling.
