Element33 Arsenic Removal + Iron/Manganese/Hydrogen Sulfide
Arsenic is Number 33 in the Periodic Table of Elements. It is a naturally occurring carcinogen found in drinking water supplies all across North America. Long term exposure to arsenic has been proven to cause serious disease, including cancer. For this reason, the USEPA has set a very stringent Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) of 10 parts-per-billion (10μg/L) of arsenic in potable water. BrassMaster Plus Element33 Arsenic Removal treatment systems effectively reduce arsenic to low or non-detectable levels, making water safe for human consumption. They also remove low levels of other nuisance contaminants, including iron, manganese, and hydrogen sulfide (sulfur/rotten egg smell).
Effective treatment of:
- Arsenic III (Arsenite)
- Arsenic V (Arsenate)
- Iron + Manganese + Hydrogen Sulfide
Features
- Effective removal of arsenic without harsh chemicals or additional equipment
- Long lasting media regenerates with air and water alone
- Improves water quality by removing additional nuisance contaminants
- Insulated tank design eliminates condensation
- Exclusive 5 year APM warranty for quick and inexpensive servicing
- Postage pre-paid test bottles for the first year included
Element33 Arsenic Removal Design
Element33 treatment systems feature a proprietary, catalytic filtration media capable of removing high levels of both arsenic III (arsenite) and arsenic V (arsenate), in addition to low levels of dissolved iron, manganese, and hydrogen sulfide (sulfur/rotten egg odor). The media is long lasting (typically 7 years) and requires no chemicals for regeneration, instead relying solely on a nightly backwash cycle. The oxygen dissolved in the backwash water effectively oxidizes and cleans the media bed.
NOTE: ARSENIC IS A CARCINOGEN. IT IS CRITICAL THAT USERS TEST THEIR WATER NO LESS THAN 4X PER YEAR TO ENSURE PROPER SYSTEM OPERATION. WATER CONTROL OFFERS THIS TESTING/VERIFICATION FOR A SMALL FEE. [FIRST 5 TEST BOTTLES INCLUDED WITH SYSTEM.]

APM Modular Design
All models include our popular APM™ modular design, which eliminates the need for field service. Simply put the unit in bypass, pull two pins, and remove the valve module. Replace it with a new valve with a 3-year (BrassMaster) or 5-year (BrassMaster Plus) warranty.
If your unit is still in warranty and you believe you require a new valve, please contact your installer. If your unit is out of warranty, you can purchase a replacement valve at: https://shop.watercontrolinc.com/collections/replacement-modules
